The eleventh hole is a short par-4 where club selection off the tee is critical. Driver may not be the most prudent of choices, as there's lots of bunker trouble about 230 yards from the teeing ground from the back tee. An errant drive into the right rough will more than likely leave a second shot through the trees.

The most sensible play on the tee shot is a fairway wood or long iron short of the fairway bunkers, which will leave 125 to 150 yards to the center of the green. Allow for a half to a full club less to account for the downhill slope.

Once on the putting surface, it is helpful to note that this green sees more direct sunlight than any hole on the course. As a result, putts tend to roll faster than you'd think, so adjust for this when gauging distance. This is a one of the great birdie opportunities on the course, so take advantage!
