Stanford University Golf Course - Solo Rider Golf Cart

Guidelines and Restrictions for Use of Solo Rider Golf Cart on Stanford Golf Course
Permission to use the Solo Rider Golf Cart is at the discretion of Stanford Golf Course Management as a disability-related accommodation for members and or guests of the golf course with substantial physical limitations. Those members and or guests who have been evaluated and approved to use the Solo Rider Golf Cart agree to abide by the following guidelines in addition to the general rules set by Stanford Golf Course. Reservations for Solo Rider Golf Cart should be made 24 hours in advance. Failure to adhere to the guidelines may subject members and or guests to a suspension of their privileges.

Guidelines:

Completed safety training for Solo Rider Golf Cart.

Weather and Turf Conditions - Restrictions on the use of the Solo Golf Cart and regular golf cart due to turf or weather conditions will be at the sole discretion of the Stanford Golf Course Management.

Permitted areas of use (see Solo Rider Access Guide, "Access Guide" for unsafe areas as well as recommended tees and areas of entrance):
- Tees - Refer to Access Guide
- Fairways - No restrictions
- Bunkers - Refer to Access Guide
- Bridges - No restrictions
- Banks - Refer to Access Guide
- Greens - When driving a golf cart on the green, the golfer should:
  - Wait until his/her turn to putt before entering the green;
  - Approach the ball from the shortest straight line possible; and
  - Upon exiting the green, do not turn the cart around; rather, take the shortest and most direct route by either backing in a straight line over the entry route or proceed in a straight line to exit on the other side of the green.
Pace of play must be maintained.

Etiquette - It is the responsibility of the golfer to:
- Repair and replace all divots created;
- Repair ball marks on greens; and
- Rake bunkers after use.
